Seating Requests for Yomim Noraim 5780 are now open.

Please fill out the form request below. Seats are not guaranteed until payment is made.

What should we expect for the Yomim Noraim this year?

As we did last year, we will have an additional minyan in a tent for both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. The minyan will include all Tefilos, and both minyanim will begin at the same time. There will be tables in the tent for the men’s section.
We will have a shofar blowing in the Youth House for the youth during davening on Rosh Hashana at approximately 11:15am. This will help alleviate crowding and reduce the noise level during davening. There will also be a shofar blowing after Mussaf.

How do I sign up for a specific minyan location?

When you purchase your Yomim Noraim seats, indicate your preference for minyan location in the comment field. We cannot guarantee that all preferences will be honored, but we will do our best to meet your request.

Will there be air conditioning in the tent?

Yes. The tent will have air conditioning, and we have increased our unit size as compared to last year to ensure adequate comfort. While we can’t control the weather, it is important to note that the Yomim Noraim are almost 3 weeks later than last year.

Will there be groups or babysitting for children?

The shul will not host groups, but we are able to offer babysitting in the Youth House for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Babysitting is for grades nursery (must be toilet trained) through 5th grade. The cost for babysitting per child, per day, is $25. Babysitting registration and payment is required when signing up for your seats, in order for us to ensure we have the proper supervision for all of the children. Snacks will be provided on Rosh Hashana and lunch on Yom Kippur. Please note that for safety and security concerns, as well as maintaining the proper sanctity and decorum for the minyanim, all children must be with their parents in a minyan or signed up for babysitting in the Youth House (i.e., children will not be permitted to “roam around” the Shul and Youth House grounds). Our babysitting service will not be able to accommodate children who are not on the reservation list. Therefore, if you plan to bring children to Shul on Rosh Hashana and/or Yom Kippur, please purchase a seat for them and/or sign them up for babysitting.

Are sponsorships available for this shul opportunity?

Yes, in an effort to defray the shul’s costs, we are seeking sponsorships. If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact Josh Rozenberg Joshua.rozenberg@gmail.com.

If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out to Dov Brandstatter dbrandstatter@gmail.com or Josh Rozenberg Joshua.rozenberg@gmail.com.
